The Darley Sports & Community Pavilion construction is well underway and due to open Mid March.
As many would know, the previous facilities were outdated and did not meet the needs of our growing clubs, our members nor the community. As an example, the old facilities were not “female friendly” nor fit for purpose for our fast growing female sports such as AFLW, Cricket and our thriving netball participants.
The new $4.1m Sports & Community Pavilion will provide our club participants, members & the wider community with a modern and state of the art facilities for their enjoyment, and to assist all participants as they strive to reach their full potential. The new facilities will also provide welcoming and friendly community meeting spaces, along with a local bistro for the enjoyment of members and visitors to dine, enjoy a coffee and provide an important location for social connection.
Jointly, our Clubs are required to contribute $500,000 to this $4.1m facility development.
On top of this requirement we are fundraising for the additional fitout requirements to the gym, kitchen, function room and locker rooms. To assist us to meet the required financial commitment, the 3 Clubs have jointly established the Darley Sports & Community Facilities Fund and are hoping to attract widespread support.

Note: Whilst this fundraiser initiative is being hosted by the Darley FNC, it is a 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐛𝐬 that is being promoted by and carried out in conjunction with the Darley Junior Football Netball Club and the Darley Cricket Club.
